X2048 Extract from EFC5/T7.2.18. A.3231. - BIJUR DYNAMO & REGULATOR. X.2048. X.1782. As regards the testing set asked for by Mr. Royce in his memo R3/W17.1.18, we have made enquiries of Messrs. Weston and they offer us their model 45 instrument which can be supplied with two ranges of amperes or volts, self contained, at a price of 5 1/4 guineas, and state that this instrument is designed to meet the demand for a low-priced portable instrument. We think, therefore, that it should quite suit Mr. Royce's requirements. If we obtain the milli-voltmeter model reading to 1.5 and to 15 volts, we can make suitable shunts to make the instrument read to 1.5 and to 15 amperes. EFC. | ||
