To Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} EFC. c. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} c. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} X6001 Hsl/MJ13.1.31. X.6099, DYNAMO OUTPUT. X.6001/2. We are arranging in future that on all 15,000 miles tests the lamps will be switched on for six hours each day. At the present time, when we run our tests in the summer time, the lamps are hardly ever used and therefore there is no chance of shewing up any fault of insufficient charge. We are also arranging with EFC. that the road tests shall be augmented by a laboratory test, which will shew us how long the car can be expected to run under the worst conditions before any trouble is likely to occur.
