-2- Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}2/T21017. Mr. Royce has agreed that with the exception of the modifications mentioned in his memo: E4/W27917 - there is no reason why we should not ask Air Board to order another 1000 Eagle Engines beyond those already on order. 2100 500 sets of material to be ordered in England, and 500 sets will be procured in America, and for America to make the aforementioned Units. This morning Mr. Elliot has sent a further note dealing with his previous memo. of which I give you a copy. Will Mr. Bailey kindly prepare any necessary drawings that will have to be sent out to America due to these modifications; and will Mr. Warren take up the question of getting them ready for shipping. I have handed to Mr. Plumpton with this memo. copy of a cable that BJ. has sent to CJ. covering the matters mentioned. Will Mr. Plumpton kindly arrange to get out the prices for these Units, so that we may post them on to CJ. at the earliest possible moment. llw | ||
