Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd.
DERBY.

We have found from practical experience that the increased contact stability of four brushes over two brushes is of much more than double the value.

We beg to submit for your consideration a brush holder line of ours which may be of interest in connection with the motors under consideration, and which are our flange holders type 'E F T' and 'E F O', the former having brush tension adjustment, the latter being without this feature.

We are sending a sample herewith of each for inspection, the 'E F O' type being brass-finished, the 'E F T' type being tin-plated.

The samples have phosphor-bronze springs but could be supplied also with stainless steel springs.

There is no difference in price for either of these features, whether supplied right or left-hand.

Both types are available in sizes for brushes:-

1/2" x 1/4"
1/2" x 3/8"
5/8" x 1/4"
3/4" x 3/8"
1" x 5/8"

and other sizes are created as demand arises.

For information we may mention that the prices would be:-

for and over.........12 24 48 72 144 720 holders.
for 'E F O' type... 2/9d 2/8 2/7 2/6 2/3 1/11d each
for 'E F T' type .. 3/- 2/11 2/10 2/9d 2/6d 2/2d each

and cheaper in larger quantities.

Thanking you for the commands we have received from you from time to time and assuring you of our utmost care and attention, we are,

Yours faithfully,
For SYNTHETIC CARBON & ENGINEERING COMPANY, LTD.
