RESERVE FUEL DEVICE
DIAGRAMATIC
AIR PRESSURE SUPPLY PIPE UNION WOULD BE JOINED TO THIS CASTING SIMILARLY TO FUEL PIPE BUT COMMUNICATING WITH TOP OF TANK.
FUEL
SYLPHON TUBE, COUPLED TO VALVE STEM TO ALLOW MOVEMENT VERTICALLY WITHOUT LEAKAGE.
NORMALLY THE HAND LEVER SHOULD BE IN A POSITION WHERE THE VALVE IS LIFTED FROM ITS SEAT
WHEN IT IS DESIRED TO DRAW ON THE RESERVE THE VALVE SHOULD BE DROPPED & THE RESERVE FUEL WILL THEN BE FORCED UP TUBE A THRO' THE HOLES B SHOWN FITTED & THEN UP MAIN TUBE C.
