X7220 RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std. Ha/Std.4/MA.21.6.34. VARIABLE PITCH FAN FOR PHANTOM. We wish to test a variable pitch fan for Phantom II, similar to the American type fan which we handed you for examination recently. We wish to start from the present standard of noise and cooling and should therefore like you to detail and make the necessary parts to construct a fan as shown on accompanying diagrammatic sketch - this shows a fan blade and supporting arm which approximates to a standard fan blade in shape and size. However we should like the blade width increased by 0.5" and the blades staggered as on LeC.3766. As soon as the metal parts are ready they should be sent to Messrs.Goodrich so that they can undertake the rubber moulding. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std. | ||
