E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} The oil breather cap is unworthy in appearance of the chassis. It is light and cheap looking and should be more like the well made petrol tank cap.
Oil breather cap is similar to the 20 hp. chassis and like the cap which will be fitted to the New PhantomCodename for PHANTOM I final type of petrol tank. We are sending you a filler cap of the new type.
In order to maintain the high-class appearance which has always been connected with and is expected of a Rolls-Royce car, it is desirable that both should have filler caps similar to 'U' Series petrol filler cap.

F.{Mr Friese} Further effort should be made to clean up the main aluminium crankcase.
Improvement can be arranged for. I will bring the matter to the attention of Works.
To be corrected by W.

G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} Further effort should be made to clean up the gearbox, which compares unfavourably, e.g. with the clutch housing.
Ditto.
Ditto.

H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} The rear axle crown wheel case is very rough.
Ditto.
Ditto.

J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} The aluminium pedal plate should have a better finish.
Ditto.
Ditto.

K.{Mr Kilner} The words "not for use in the United Kingdom" have been abandoned from the cut-out pedal plate, and should be re-instated.
An oversight in the original design. Will be replaced in the near future.
Ditto.

L. The Klaxon push button and dome on the steering wheel is cheap in appearance, poor in design and is constantly referred to by prospective buyers as 'American'.
A matter of design. Cannot be altered without R's consent.
This is most desirable. We will refer it to R.{Sir Henry Royce}

M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} The starter motor for some reason is painted in a sickly khaki colour, instead of black or the same colour as all the rest of the chassis.
Improvement can be arranged for. I will bring this matter to the attention of the Works.
Noted. Why not make this similar to dynamo cover?
