Re. GOSHAWK CYLINDER HEAD. X4086

With reference to the above, thinking it would be quicker we arranged for Bullamore to bring out this Cylinder head with him, in preference to sending it by Air Mail.

We understand from Sales Department that they have had considerable difficulty with the Transport authorities to allow Bullamore to take this Cylinder head forward. We understand, however, that he was able to leave London last night after they had made the necessary arrangements for him to take the cylinder head with him.

With regard to the question of Bullamore's driving pass. Bullamore's name and photograph are already on the pass for 6-Goshawk-II. We now understand from Sales Department that Bullamore has been given a Slip, arranging for him to drive 7-Goshawk-II, on the understanding that he does not do so until Archer and Waldron return, and that the issuing of this permit enabling him to drive 7-G-II is subject to Archer's and Waldron's names being erased from this driving pass.

We shall be glad therefore if you will arrange for Bullamore to drive 6-G-II only until such time as Archer and Waldron have returned, when he will then be able to drive either car.

Sales Dept. inform us that this is the best they can do with the R.A.C. who already consider that they have obtained very considerable concessions for us in connection with this 10,000 miles test.
