We thank you for your Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 2/LG9.2.27. and note that the front track will be 58".

Since however the lean of the wheel from the vertical on the old axle with 57" track is 2 1/2°, and the lean on the wheel on the new axle is 1°, the centre distance between the tops of the wheel on the new axle is actually less than that on the old axle. We therefore have not widened the wings.

We thank you for your wire confirming that only high pressure tyres will be used on 10-EX.
