-2- Do similar instructions regarding chassis lubrication mileages apply to 'SS{S. Smith}' as to 20 H.P? Same as centre point lubricated 20 H.P. Are we to recommend same engine and gear oils for 'SS{S. Smith}' as for 'Phantom'? Back axle is lubricated with Whitmore's compound. For 'Phantom' we instruct engine crankcase to be drained and filter cleaned after first 500 miles, and again after first 1,000 miles running with a new car. Subsequently after every 2,000 miles. Does same apply to 'SS{S. Smith}'? Recommend first 1000 miles and subsequently every 2,500 miles. What are the normal and minimum quantities of oil to be carried in the crankcase of 'SS{S. Smith}'? 1 1/4 Gals of oil normal 1/8 Gal minimum. Is oil pump self-priming after draining crankcase and cleaning filter? yes. | ||
