To Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} 202 Kingsbury June 26th 1937 BENTLEY REAR AXLE 138-J.D. This chassis had a propeller shaft damper which we went for before doing anything to the axle. It was found to have tightened up and was taken down, cleaned, etc. The test on the road gave us no improvement at the particular speed of noise. If the owner complains again we will let you have the axle. I believe it will quieten down with running. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} | ||
