SQUEAKING BRAKES ON 20 HP.

To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from BJ.

Please let me know what is the position in regard to squeaky brakes on the 20 h.p. Are we making experiments to overcome this squeak in future?

I understand that at present the only way of curing it is to tell the driver that he should, every morning, run the car on 2nd gear for a few hundred yards with the brake on, and in particularly obstinate cases apply paraffin.

This does not sound right for the owner of a Rolls-Royce to have to go through this business every morning.
