Suggestion by Mr. Armitage to modify a 13 1/2 inch plate and proposing an experimental test.

We have been considering the suggestion made by Mr. Armitage that it would be easier to keep the facings flat on the 13½" plate if all the horse-shoe slots were on the inner radius, and agree that this would probably be the case.
