Bentley / Mr Barrington} STREAMLINED BENTLEY CAR. We think the results obtained on the Streamlined Bentley justify the wind tunnel tests and show that the results obtained are reliable. Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} in his memo EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}7/KT.3.8.33 made the following statement:- "By the proportionate comparison of data and facts, knowing that the standard saloon, with 92.5 HP. at the road wheels at 4150 R.P.M. will lap at 86.5 M.P.H. and show a genuine 93 M.P.H. on the road, we can expect this small and revised bodied car to lap at 95 M.P.H. and show a genuine 103 MPH. on the road." We have exactly reproduced the results anticipated. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
