CLUTCH SPRING DRIVE - BENTLEY.

We attach a copy of a note we have sent to By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} about the setting of the spring drive. Will you please see that all further chassis have the spring drives built to this specification. The first lot of driving springs to Ex.12473 were not correct the load being too light. In the event of the supply of correct springs may not having arrived, we can obtain the required load by using 12 driving springs to GB.537 instead of 16.
