Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter reference B1/MSD of the 8th January, and apologise for the delay in replying. Whereas we note the satisfactory results on the test conducted on your new E.P. oil as regards not silting up on the bearing rig, we regret that we do not feel we can recommend this oil should be used until we have satisfied ourselves it has suitable extreme pressure properties, and will be satisfactory in our hypoid axles.
