To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from BJ. X4555 BJ8/H12.2.24. DIPPING HEADLIGHTS ON 20 H.P. With reference to your memo. of the 30th, ref: Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}7/LG30.1.24, I attach a copy of C/Hn{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders}7/MH{M. Huckerby}9.2.24. I am not sure exactly what is the effect of the restricted dipping of the R.R. lamps as compared with the Barker dipping lamps, but I have not found that the Barker dipping lights throw the beams down too low when amid traffic. I think it would be inconvenient to other users of the road if the R.R. scheme does not permit of the lamps throwing the beams as low on the ground as the Barker scheme. B.J. | ||
