CENTRAL LUBRICATION.

The following is a list of the recommendations made by the Expl. Dept., from time to time. To clear the job up, we wish to find out if they are all actually standardised.

(1) Enots guns without intensifiers to be supplied in kits. 3.4.29.

(2) Mod. to drip-plug caps to put a round collar beneath the hexagon. This is to save the alum. washers. 3.5.29

(3) Increases in drip-plug sizes on J.2 series (a) Rear end of starter motor from S.00 to S.O. (b) Rear shock dampers S.O. to S.1. 23.5.29

(4) Necessity for testing 10% of all drip-plugs. 27.5.29

(5) 'O' series 20 HP. should have (a) an adaptor for preventing oil pump from leaking (b) non-return valve fitting G.77765 for mechanics joints (c) non-return valve G.53802 and 3 on front and rear axles. 17.6.29

(6) Spare felts to be included in 20 HP. Tool kits. (2 for each: Bijur pump, front and rear axles.) 27.6.29

(7) Increase in length of adaptor for filling Bijur pump to 1.2". 23.7.29

(8) Modification to steering tube ball ends for lubrication of the sleeve. Ball end guide to be drilled .060 dia., at distance .900 from shoulder. 23.7.29

(9) Note to be inserted in Instruction Book that customers should depress pump pedal twice. 24.7.29
