EXPERIMENTAL BODY.

We have had a communication from Bs.{A J. Barnes - Assistant Manager} asking us for information concerning a Vanvooren body shell which was destroyed by a bomb at Lillie Hall.

The only Experimental Vanvooren body of which we have any knowledge is one for the Corniche which, as far as we know, is still in a packing case at Willesden. We have no knowledge of a complete Corniche body being sent over, nor of any other French body being ordered for an experimental car.

We should therefore be glad if you would look into the matter and see whether this particular bit of coachwork was ordered from Sr. for a trials car.

Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}
