Dear Sirs,
Referring to our letter of the 14th instant, we are afraid that we have been unable to establish the cause of the incorrect contacting between the Roller and the Cam which we kept back in accordance with our last letter to you mentioned above.
We are, therefore, returning the Cam to-day to you in accordance with your request, and we are putting in hand three further Cams in the hope that these replace Cams will prove to be satisfactory.
We would ask you kindly to appreciate that for these special Cams and Rollers we have no jigs and fixtures for testing the same, and, therefore, it is very difficult indeed to take measurements as we should wish.
Every possible care, however, will be taken in the replace Cams which we are now putting through and we sincerely trust that they will be found to be satisfactory when delivered to you.
