For the attention of Mr. F.{Mr Friese} Ll. Smith.

Dear Sirs,

Re Special 11" Clutches.

We have to acknowledge receipt of your esteemed letter of the 15th instant and are pleased to note that the tests you have carried out with No.6 facings on 10" clutches have so far been successful and that you are anxious to have some 11" driven plates also fitted with No.6 facing material, having inner rivets clinching both facings, also two cover assemblies fitted with cream thrust springs 130-lbs.

Instructions have been issued to our Works to produce two complete clutches in accordance with requests as outlined above.

We would kindly ask you to arrange that when order is passed, order actually calls for two complete clutches to specification BB.252 modified.

With regard to delivery, we appreciate same is urgent, and it is ascertained that it will be necessary to pass orders for 11" No.6 facings as we are without stock, not having previously had a call on this size.

Yours faithfully,
BORG & BECK COMPANY LIMITED.

A.M.Shinkins.
