(4) E/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey}1/HP. 30.5.35. Oil Level Indicator and Oil Drain Cock. To be as at present instructed. Oil Relief Valve. To be instructed to LeC.4385. Tecalemit Oil Filter. To be as at present instructed - LeC.4385. Oil Temperature Regulator. To be instructed in accordance with LeC.4386. Wire Fittings. This section is to be held up pending design modifications which are required as a result of experimental tests. The modifications will include (1) using laquer cambric covered H.T. wiring, (2) low tension wire is not to go through the wiring tubes. (3) Ross Courtney terminals are to be used on the sparking plugs, as on the Bentley. Fan. To be as at present instructed. Exhaust Fittings. Proceed with 8 sets of exhaust manifolds in accordance with LeC.4408. The remaining exhaust fittings are at present uncertain, and should be held up pending further information. Controls. To be instructed to suit the reversed throttle carburetters, in accordance with LeC's 4495 and 4506. Radiator and Fittings. Radiator Shutters and Controls. This section to be held up pending completion of a design for thermostatically operated shutters as on Phantom 2. Bonnet. To be as at present instructed. All cars to be fitted with shutters and not louvres. | ||
