-2- R.M.Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}3/AP.13.1.37 REMARKS. WRAITH (7) WIND NOISES cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} here show promise of eliminating a lot of the noise. (8) 26.G.VI. 15,000 MILES CAR. This is nearly ready to go to France and is representative as far as our present knowledge goes of what production will be. No testing has yet been done on the front engine mounting. (9) PRODUCTION. At RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}'s request a memo has been circulated saying where it is reasonably safe to order material for and arrange jigs for 100 sets of parts to follow the six cars being made. (10) SIDNEY BONNET. We think Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}12/E.12.1.38 should be discussed owing to the difficulties in connection with the Sidney Hinge. (11) PROBLEMS. The Exp. Dept. are investigating the following problems:- 1. Engine Mounting. 2. Tightening of steering pivots. 3. Suspension noises. 4. Piston scuffing. 5. Oil consumption. 6. 3rd. gear jumping out of mesh. 7. Cold starting. BENTLEY (12) OVERDRIVE GEARBOX. Trouble has been experienced due to seizure of a bush.
