Dear Sirs,

re. EXPERIMENTAL BODIES.

This is to confirm agreements reached during the visit to your Works on Wednesday last.

BENTLEY A.{Mr Adams}
(1) Due to the uncertainty of what the tools will be we now agree to abandon the attempt to house any tools under the bonnet, in the scuttle, on these cars.
On all cars the road tools (mallet, wheel spanner, jack, and starting handle) will be fixed under the bonnet by Derby.
All the other tools will be carried as follows:

4 & 6 Light Saloons - under rear seat.
Close coupled saloon & Coupe (wheel at rear) - in drawer over luggage, and alongside, cases.
Close coupled saloon (wheel at side) - alongside cases, and in space aft of tank under the luggage boot.

(2) All bodies to be fitted with an air scoop on the N.S., and no side ventilators.

(3) On the close coupled saloons remote control handles will be needed to the rear doors only. On the 4 and 6 light bodies no remote handles appear to be necessary, neither do they appear to be required in the coupe.

(4) We enclose herewith a print of the instrument board for these cars. This will enable you to cut and fix the board.

(5) A dummy hub and sample wheel will follow in a few days from Derby.

(6) We left with you a print of the louvred bonnet.
