ENGINE FABRIC COUPLING.
This coupling after 17,692 miles, shows slight bulges between each anchorage. The fabric itself is quite sound, and, as previously reported, is quite a satisfactory job.

PEDALS TO SC.L.O.P. F.72359.
These bearings are still in a good condition. No apparent wear has taken place.

CLUTCH.
As reported on our previous sheets, this has slipped on one or two occasions, otherwise it has functioned O.K., and we have had no slip of late. Personally, I have not been able to obtain the clutch slip as reported, but from the reports of the drivers, the slip has occurred when picking up from slow speed, and on hills. When on hills the slip has lasted for a few moments only, and has then been quite O.K. We still maintain that a better clutch stop should be fitted, as when hot the clutch, when declutched, is very sluggish in stopping and at times, will not stop.

STEERING BOX SUSPENSION.
Modified steering, including rocking shaft, etc. to L.O.P. F.72863 - this is still quite O.K. The loss of oil from this box, since using thick oil, is very little. Steering at low speeds is still heavy. At high speeds we get shocks on steering wheel. We are, when the car returns from Paris, going to try the various suggestions that you have made.

RADIATOR & SHUTTERS.
Radiator is still O.K. The suspensions of radiator have worn rather badly. As previously reported, we consider that these suspensions should be designed more robust to carry the larger radiator. Radiator shutters are still satisfactory. A slight rattle comes from the vanes, but should not consider this bad. End play has developed in actuating rod from dash to radiator. The other controls are in good condition.

GEARBOX.
Generally, this is O.K. As previously reported, there is a slight leak of oil from front and rear bearings. Also after a high speed run oil leaks from the tower. Starter motor chain has not required adjustment since our last report.
