Dear Mr. Lucas,

Thank you for your letter of the 31st. March.

I am afraid we put up a very poor demonstration of the trouble when Mr. Barrington came to Derby but I think that nevertheless his visit was very useful.

We have agreed to send a car over immediately we have a good sample of the trouble.
