Dear Mr. Robotham,

Thanks for your letter of the 13th inst.
The Air Cleaner we recommend fits straight on to the mouth of the carburetter and is in the form of two flat discs with the air entering the periphery. It does not cause any increase in the depression at all, and will not affect the setting of an S.U. Carburetter in any way. It is marketed by Messrs. F.{Mr Friese} Smith & Sons, Huddersfield Road, Elland, Yorks.

I believe the Vokes people now have a similar type cleaner, but we have not actually tried it out for ourselves.
