For the attention of Mr. Skinner.

Dear Mr. Skinner,

We understand from your representative when he was up here last week, that you have successfully silenced your horizontal carburetter by means of some proprietary form of air cleaner.

We should be very interested to know what this air cleaner is, and what type of fittings you use for it. Also if you have any figures as to the increase in depression caused by this fitting, the results would be of considerable assistance to us.

Yours faithfully,

For Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd.
