PHANTOM ALUMINIUM HEAD. X8050(struck through) X7060(struck through)

In reply to your BY8/G20.3.28., our
requisition is founded on the EAC.14. and RR.F.
practice of making the exhaust valve guide stouter,
and we shew both a larger diameter at the top, and
a slower taper.

There is however much more projection
of the exhaust guide on RR.F. than on EAC.10. or 14.
from the protective aluminium boss, and hence there
is reason for the EAC.10. valve guide to be of less
heavy section, but I still feel it should not be as
light as the inlet guide is shewn.

Perhaps you could get HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}' opinion on
this. It seems to me the best idea would be to
make the exhaust and inlet valve guides interchange-
able at .750 dia. at top, and 1 in 20 taper.
