We are hoping for some considerable benefit from front engine feet - hard rubber mounting - making a more rigid front, and so increasing the damping of the front axle to improve steering. Can we test this with temporary pieces?

We ought to fit parallel moving front axle on the above at the earliest possible date, but we have not definitely separated the proportion of the steering trouble arising from gyrostatic and road actions

The silent treads and more damping in the walls ought to make the steering quieter.

One would at first think that if the steering trouble was chiefly gyrostatic, it would not be dependent on hold on the road surface, but road surface grip may be the source of motion, and the gyrostatic effect is what we feel.
