RE. STEERING WHEELS. X.3861 X.5430
20 HP. AND 40/50. X.7430 X.4557

We send herewith N.sch.2689 and 2690 showing steering wheels for Phantom and India respectively. In both cases the dia. has been increased by .750".

The rim sections of both wheels are the same, so also are the corrugations. We believe this to be logical, as the same hand steers both sizes of car.

Since our records appear to shew that a Dover wheel is standard at present on the 20 HP., we wish these new wheels eventually both to be Dover type.

It is essential that we get a sample of each on a car so that they may be tried by all concerned for XXXXX 'feel!'
To do this any suitable construction may be used.

The Phantom wheel is to be used on 'SS{S. Smith}' also.
