To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} Y7230 Mx{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer}2/T20.6.28. F.2.B. SERIES CHASSIS. On the Exhaust system of the F.2.B. Engine, the bolt and nut on the rear exhaust box securing the down pipe is in a very inaccessible position. It is not possible to tighten this up with the engine in a chassis with a standard spanner, and we are having to make the best of it by using a special claw spanner. Probably this point has already been brought to your notice by the Works. [Stamp: RECEIVED 20 JUN 1928] Mx{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} | ||
