should they be dismantled at any time and incorrectly re-erected.

Definite instructions should also be issued so that the load on each ball of the steering connecting tube can be guaranteed between fixed limits.

The swaying of the car I think should be dealt with as a separate feature, which I think will be a separate complaint. I do not feel that the use of un-split rear springs will overcome this, and I still consider there are several advantages in using the split spring.

We are aware that the swaying of the car was very bad with the under-slung springs, and is very much improved with the present higher springs. I suggest, therefore that we should seriously consider still moving them higher. This point is one for your consideration.

I should be glad if you could arrange for some instructions to be issued to deal with the cars we are now turning out, and those delivered.

I do not think we should allow any further cars to be delivered according to the present standard than absolutely essential, as we can only take advantage of the present standard maximum lean, which is 3/16". This feature weare trying to obtain with the car under its normal running conditions.
