NEW PHANTOMCodename for PHANTOM I. SILENCER LAGGING.

Kindly order/up a piece of lagging to cover the front end of the silencer in place of the present aluminium piece, in "Staybrite".

The gauge of the material should remain the same as at present.

The object of ordering the material is to get increased strength to resist the tendency for the aluminium to be damaged and torn away as the combined result of the expansion of the asbestos lagging as it gets wet, and the hammering of stones thrown up from the wheels.

This matter is urgent, as HS. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} is anxious to have the silencer fitted up in this way on his next 10,000 miles trial.
