(10) Remove all 5/16 nuts from main spring housing and withdraw complete with springs and tackle.
(11) Slack off spring compressor and remove springs.

Removal of Needle Roller Bearings and Fulcrum Pin Upper and Lower Triangle Levers.

Upper Triangle Levers. (See Fig. )
(1) Jack up front of car and remove road wheels.
(2) Disconnect and remove oil pipes to bearings at outer end of triangle levers.
(3) Disconnect cross steering tubes.
(4) Remove 5/16" bolt H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints}
(5) Release two clamping bolts.
(6) Remove needle roller housing and bearing pin.

Lower Triangle Levers.
(1) } As Upper Triangle Lever.
(3) }
(4) Remove bolt.
(5) Remove lock plate at back of yoke.
(6) Undo cap nut and remove ball pad, ball pin, and drive out bottom ball pad.

To re-assemble, reverse operations. Adjusting washers should be fitted with reference to the following instructions.
