Mr. Fairey is very delighted with his "Phantom II", but thinks it desirable to send it to Derby on Monday to be decarbonised and generally checked over. He suggests that some of the valve springs may want changing as valve bounce is in evidence at high speeds.
I understand Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} wants to look at the brake drums which he fitted to this car when it was last at the Works. It will be appreciated if the work can be carried out promptly and the car afterwards is to be delivered to Messrs. Park Ward for their attention.
