Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} (Struck through) c. ROY{Sir Henry Royce}/Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} (Struck through) BENTLEY S. FRONT WING STAYS. Messrs. Park Ward have produced a jig in order that the wingstays can be bent to the actual shape required to suit the wings. As they find it necessary to have right and left hand wingstays, we suggest that the detail drawings should be altered to agree with the jig. The tip of the wingstay also requires modifying as shewn on the attached sketch, to provide adequate means of bolting the wing to the stay. The actual jig is at present in my possession, and can be obtained for measuring purposes. Will you please deal with this without delay, in order that ROY{Sir Henry Royce}/Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} may be able to send the jig away as soon as possible. DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/JD.{J. Draper - Frames} | ||
