-2- Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies}14/KT. 24.1.33. Modification to O.series. Lbs. Ozs. Balanced crankshaft 13 8 Lake & Elliott brake drums. 28 8 ------- 42 0 Total increase accounted for 135 lbs. 8 ozs. --------------- On the other hand we have effected a decrease in weight of the present standard radiator by 16 lbs. Also a decrease of 3 lbs. on the latest exhaust rear silencer. If we subtract this 19 lbs. from our 135½ lbs. it leaves us with 116½ lbs. accounted for; this shews a discrepancy of 30 lbs. Weight of various chassis shew a difference up to 15 lbs. and for the other poundage we think it may be accounted for in castings and drop forgings, due to the dies getting worn.
