-2- Extract from report from Driver Turner dated 9th May re run given to Mrs Maguire. "The chauffeur thought the steering too light at speed". With regard to the run I gave this car on Saturday last, I do think that for anyone who is inclined to drive fast the car is a bit unstable at the higher speeds, and is likely to come in for adverse criticism from that point of view. I would not personally complain of the light steering, but definitely controlling the car at the higher speeds on anything but first-class roads does keep one much busier with the steering wheel in checking it from taking rather an erratic course. I understand you will take this matter up with the Design Department at the Works with a view to considering the necessary remedy for these criticisms. Cx{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} | ||
