Re Chassis 102-MC (Late 9-AU) Paris Trials. -------------------------------------------- Re Battery. ----------- I am causing the dismantled battery to be sent you as instructed and have supplied a new one, the cost of which you agree to support. I would ask you not to take too much notice of the manner in which this battery has been dismantled. I was anxious to see the dismantling myself and the electricians had not the necessary apparatus handy, which permits the dismantling of the plates and elements, without breaking them. You will nevertheless be able to confirm what I have previously written. The battery is packed in case No.RR-1871, and sent through Hernu-Peron. Kindly let me have your remarks for future guidance. It is observed that P/R batteries are not interchangeable, as I believe they were originally intended to be. The length of the plates differ. Ps. | ||
