X 4473 W.W. do not agree to the turning round of the tube 180° and shortening the wires. They have sent a new design Loc. 2849. of tube with the wires arranged to prevent them becoming burnt. This arrangement will be brought into production on the next series of cars. For P.2. series a heat screen is being fitted. Item (33) Inter Fan Fabric Drive 20/25HP. With the result of Wright's investigation a shield is being experimentally tried out on the fabric drive to prevent oil getting on to the fabric. This scheme proving successful can be applied to existing cars. | ||
