To Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} from EFC.

EFC2/T9.5.23.

X. 4589 - B.L.I.C. VOLTAGE REGULATOR.

During the visit of the two representatives of The British Lighting & Ignition Company yesterday, their system of external voltage regulation of chassis dynamos (applicable more particularly to present third brush con-trolled machines) would seemed sufficiently attractive to warrant us complying with their request to let them have one of our 20 H.P. dynamos to which to adapt their voltage regulator and pass on to us for test. We are accordingly asking Sft.{Mr Swift} to let us have a dynamo for this purpose and hope to have this by Monday to despatch to the B.L.I.C.

Will you kindly let us have the necessary instructions and label for the despatch of this machine on Monday.

EFC.
