Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Wd. {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} c.to EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} c.to By. {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} c.to EP. {G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} c.to CO/Dn. X4279 Watford Magnetos. We are in receipt of a letter from North & Sons Ltd. dated 25th inst. stating that on 22nd inst. they sent us by passenger train a model E.L.O.6 No.55044 magneto. They explain that this is a sample magneto and has a larger armature than those we are using and they will be obliged to us if we will test this magneto on one of our chassis and advise them in due course of the result. They remind us that the question of a larger armature machine has been under discussion for some time and give expression to the belief that we shall be interested in carrying out comparative tests. They add that it will be some time before they can come to any decision with regard to this model. Wd. {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} Wd. {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} | ||
