To RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}, (201) Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}17/KW.2.1.35. Stronger Pivot Pins - Bentley. Will you please fit the stronger pivot pins to B-23-AE car. We urgently require a second set for endurance running on a rig test. While B-23-AE is in the shop will you please change over the big end bearings from lead bronze to white metal. We shall probably want to revert to lead bronze bearings, but we are trying to trace a noise which has come up in the engine which we think may be due to the clearance in the big ends.
