PIVOT PINS. In connection with this matter the Minute states:-

"It is considered that this is a 'Safety First' job and must be worked on day and night".

This does not mean week-end work. It is absolutely imperative, however, that before any of the new pins are fitted on a chassis, tests are made experimentally with the new pins as quickly as possible in order that a standardisation sheet can be issued.

Will all concerned please deal with this matter without delay.
