525,033 J.Frasch Electrolytic process for the protection of magnesium and its alloys.

Coatings said to be highly resistant to corrosion are deposited on magnesium and its alloys by treating them electrolytically with alternating current in a bath containing chomic acid but in the absence of alkali metal phosphates, sulphates, or other alkali nickel salts.
Solution used is preferably 5 to 30% of C v O² in water the p H of both should be maintained at less than 2.

525,037 F.Amiot Aircraft engine cowlings or nacelles

In order to ensure an efficient cowling of the supports of engines of different types from a standard aircraft frame, the cowling supports which occupy the space between the frame and the parts of the engine which protrude from the cowling can be removed and others of different shape substituted for them.

525,051 Weskenson Corporation Reversing-gearing.

For providing a quick reverse gearing for use principally on motor boats and launches.
The gearing consists of a special arrangement of bevel pinions engaging bevel side gears on the driving and driven shafts in combination with dog clutches.
