x354 To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell}29/KW.4.12.35. Phantom III. Will you please make 2 gauze tappet filters to LeC.4834, with the following modifications. (1) Substitute the drilled metal star shaped guard by a wire mesh guard, having square apertures the pitch of the wire being .125 and the wire 20 SWG. - .036" dia. in galvanized steel. This is shown pencilled on the attached drawing. (2) Between the cylindrical 75 mesh gauze and the above guard, insert a 100 mesh gauze made to follow the shape of the guard.
