Dear Sirs,

With reference to your letter ref. FLR/DLM of the 16th. inst.

The answer to your queries are as follows :-

1. The average speed of the car is approx. 30 m.p.h., on some runs it may be as high as 34/35 m.p.h.

2. The average life of other makes of tyres fitted to the rear wheels is 7300 miles.

3. The greatest distance run on a rear cover is 9,852 miles.

With reference to the 33 X 5 tyres which you are sending to us for test on a 40/50 HP. The car to which these will be fitted will be run in France.

We wish to send with the car 4 spare tyres. Will you please send us a quotation for these as we do not expect you to supply them free-of-charge.

We should like you to let us know whether it is possible to obtain Rapson tyres anywhere in France.

Thanking you in anticipation.

Yours faithfully,

MADE AT CROXLEY
