Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of the 28th October asking for particulars of a lighter 6-HZD9-S battery suitable for automobile work, and we herewith confirm the conversation which the Writer had with Mr. Childs at Belper on Monday last.

We will build up two sample batteries, both of which will be lighter than the 6-HZD9-S and if you will let us know the currents at which these are to discharge, we will arrange to carry out the necessary tests at a temperature of 80° F.{Mr Friese} When this has been done we will let you have the full results together with a schedule of capacities and weights, etc.

Yours faithfully,

PETO & RADFORD.

E.S. Chapman
