X7410 X3864 We send herewith N. scheme 2701. shewing the arrangement of the front buffer on "SS{S. Smith}". N. scheme 2683. is unaltered, and the construction of the buffer is on the lines of N. scheme 1845. We have never had a report of this latter, and if there are difficulties we should like to know.
